"I first saw these while visiting my son and daughter in law. She had these lunch boxes. I came home and ordered them as well. These are super durable being stainless steel. They are dishwasher safe, however I’m usually needing them for my next days lunch. If I have a load ready to wash in my dishwasher, then they get washed right along with. But they are so easy to wash by hand as well. The containers are easy to open even with my arthritis. I love the design of them. They work well to use for storing any leftovers as well. Great buy. I use these daily."

"Durable and tight-fitting, used for our kids at school. The box itself is leak-proof to the outside, so you can rest easy knowing it won't leak into your kid's backpack. However, the compartments are not leak-proof between each other, so if you have something wet in one and it gets flipped sideways or upside down it may leak into the other compartments. Our latches fit tightly, in contrast to some reviews. Not too big for a small child yet spacious enough for an older child also. If the bottom compartment were just a bit deeper it might be more convenient to fit in apples or oranges--as it is only very small ones (clementines and tiny apples or apples cut in half) will fit while still allowing the lid to close."
